We are in the middle of a heat wave. You know Seattle's reputation of being cold and rainy. Well, today was 110 degrees at our house outside and 96 degrees inside. That is the hottest recorded temperature here EVER!!! All together we are supposed to have at least a full week of 90 degrees or more. Very few people here have AC and you couldn't find one in this city if you tried.
We did get to run through the sprinkler. It was so cool and refreshing. Rocky is sleeping on the flagstone hearth since the stones are cooler than the carpet. I sleep where ever the fan is blowing. Mom is not doing very good. The air quality is bad and she has had breathing problems since she had a pulmonary embolism last year. We have no pictures because all they would be is us laying around like a wet dish rag.

Down here we don't take off our jackets until it reaches 100 degrees.
Boy, running through the sprinkler! Kinda like doggy flash dance☺
Oh man, just make sure you drink enough water Diego! Our Mama says that when she visited Seattle some years ago she had a wonderful sunny and hot three days there, too :)
Loved your header picture! Way cool!
Sounds hot - make sure you and your mom keep cool. Although we are having miserable weather in Scotland we appreciate that too hot can be difficult too!
Look after mom.
love and kisses

Hi Diego,
This summer has been freaky weather wise. We have been having a cooler and wetter than normal summer. Then to hear you are baking in the heat, like we usually are this time of year, makes us wonder what the heck is going on!

Stay cool! Mom filled up our pools outside yesterday so we could get some relief. Luckily our house is well shaded, so it was only 88 inside.

Hot and muggy? YIKES! Best things to do are find the coolest place possible, drink lots of fluids, move as little as possible, and eat lightly. Sprinkler fun is good, but in the shade. Tell your mom to be careful not to over- exert herself and to use cold compresses at her wrists and back of neck to cool down.
hey Diego, we feel your pain. we live in this area too (Mill Creek) and it was 91 inside our house last night. none of us are sleeping well. mom even took us out in the back yard and hosed us down yesterday. she said we were panting too much. she hosed herself down with a cool shower inside the house. too hot!

I know we often complain about the weather here in Scotland, but 110 degrees, phew! I glad we don't get that heat, you all look after yourselves
We have heat like that a lot but we do have a/c. We feel so badly for you, our friends Steve and Kat are sweating it out too. We hope your mom will be OK, tell her to hang out at the mall. We even saw on the news that some of your restaurants have had to close because it is too hot for the cooks. We will hope for a break for you soon.
Hugs, the OP Pack
Hi, Diego!
We have the same temps here! Not funny!

It was 101 here today, but we have terrific A/C, and ceiling fans, and are very comfy - wanna come visit?
